This is a loooong special recipe, made by the official chef of the Little Chef that is 4 years old: it is our cook and official taster of the recipes. Furthermore, the idea of \u200b\u200bthe recipe and the Little Chef Cooking Classes arise from his idea.
preparing a soft carrot cake for his friends, we decided that today we will make a fantastic cake carrots and oranges in the shape of Winnie the Pooh (Little Chef's choice).
To start we made a list of ingredients :
- 400 g Carrots
- 3 eggs
- 300 grams of flour
- 150 grams of sugar
- 1 orange red, juicy
- 1 cup of sunflower oil
- 1 packet of yeast for sweet vanilla
* a silicone mold in the shape of Winnie The Pooh
Preparation:
In a bowl beat three eggs (an operation that can make babies, make sure that there are the eggshell in the bowl with 150g of sugar ;-). Do stir the Little Chef.
Use an electric mixer to create a frothy cream and homogeneous. The Little Chef will taste the mixture once off the mixer.
Grate carrots with a grater (do a work for his mother!) Or use a trittaverdure. Little Chef will check if the carrots are sweet enough to eat one or two during the preparation.
When we measured the flour and oil, to payable to the Little Chef in the flour and stir the mixture with the eggs and sugar. Once the flour, a homogeneous paste. Here it becomes difficult to stir and cook because of the consistency of paste. Have paid him when we mix oil and a sachet of yeast for sweet vanilla. Cut orange in half and to squeeze the juice directly to the Little Chef in the dough while mom cuts the remaining orange slices directly into the dough. Pour into mold and bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes.
It 's a very good cake breakfast or a snack, it's incredibly soft and has a very delicate flavor and scent. Next time we'll try to make a version with ground almonds.
Tips for cooking with children: As with all other recipes, the most important thing is to organize before you start cooking. Children tend to become impatient very quickly, so prepare before all the tools and mentally already share the job. Wash hands thoroughly before and after cooking, clean the worktable and refrigerate the advanced ingredients. Make sure you are away from liquids while using electrical appliances. Always use oven mitts.
